Community Risk Management

Working in Confidence

To maximize the beneftit of our services, it's important that we know how your church operates. Therefore, we ask that you be as open as you can with us.  We adhere to a strict confidentiality agreement. Nothing about your church or it's operations will be shared with any other organization without your permission.

Minimizing Inconvenience

We will want to get information from various memebers of your church staff.  Some of this will be done in person, but we also use simple questionnaires when we can, so we don't interrupt the important work you are doing any more than we have to.  These will be forwarded to you in advance, so they can be completed on your staff's schedule, not ours.

Developing a Plan that Works for You

Community Risk Management will develop a comprehensive risk management plan based on the needs, vision, and goals of your church.  This is accomplished in 3 steps:

Phase 1: Site Visit

Depending on the size and scope of your church, we'll gather some basic information from you beforehand, but start with at least a half-day visit.  We'll tour your facilities together, talk through a typical week on your campus, and interview key personnel.  However, the most important information we'll need is your church's vision and missions.  Everything we do will focus on your objectives, and designing a risk management plan centered on your priorities.

Phase 2: Insurance Review

We'll be asking for copies of your insurance policies and pertinent documentation.  Before we get back for your final presentation, we'll go through each policy and outline what is and isn't covered.  It's very important that your staff know the coverage and limitations on each policy, claims procedures, and other requirements.

Phase 3: Plan Presentation

1-2 weeks after our initial visit, we'll schedule a time to present our findings and a proposed Risk Management Plan.  We hope that key staff and decision makers can join us to review our results and recommendations.  We'll cover  a wide variety of information, and leave you with a detailed risk managment plan.  Then, while you implement your plan, we're still here- happy to help with anything you may need.
